Emma Palmer (Ward)
Program Coordinator
Emma Palmer is a Program Coordinator for the Center for Evidence-Based Behavioral Health. She handles Center administrative functions, with focus points on The Northern Virginia Regional and Fairfax Consortia for Evidence-Based Practice (NVRC-EBP & FC-EBP).
As a graduate of GMU (2019), Emma has seen firsthand the value of the research conducted at Mason. The research aims of CEBBH and its affiliates are especially exciting as the impact of this work is undeniable. Emma is passionate about the mission of the Center and believes that evidence-based practice and community-based mental health are essential to the region and larger nation. She is proud to be part of the CEBBH team working to make training in these areas available and accessible to Fairfax County and beyond!
Emma's research interests include outcome evaluation of community training initiatives, use of manualized interventions, and measurement-based care.
